As of April 7, the maintenance was no longer ongoing, and the developers have stated that they are “still working on some of the fixes that we have received.”
Itagaki has not commented on what exactly the developers are working on, but they have stated on the game’s official forums that the team has “done some optimizations for the engine to allow for more realistic character animations.”
The FFT project previously posted a video detailing the game and the ongoing maintenance.
We have yet to receive confirmation that the game is playable at this time.
The FFFV maintenance is expected to last for a week, with the developers promising that they will continue updating the game with new content and bug fixes until all of its fixes have been completed.
